The metal ring surrounding the rearmost element
unscrews counterclockwise. I've been able to do it in
several instances barehanded or with a piece of thin
rubber to help get a grip. I think there is one more
rear element to remove before you can get a shot at
the blades with some degreaser, but it just falls out
easily.
You also get a chance to blow out some of the dust
that has probably accumulated in the lens over the
years.
Good luck! A satisfying operation if successful, and
only takes 10-15 minutes once you get the hand of it.
