Well I am back from Vacation at Lundy Lake and saw no Bald Eagles. Drat.
However I did get to see a young Red tail with his or her breakfast, about
a 6 inch trout in it's talons going back to the nest I expect. Of course
the camera was in the case about 20 feet away while I was untangling my
five year olds fishing line. Got to try to photograph some deer in what I
can only discribe as avaible darkness. 800 asa (ok ISO) 300 4.5 wide open
and the shutter speed was about 2-4 seconds. Nothing I would show anybody
but fun anyway. Spent a couple of hours photographing the Sunrise over
Mono lake and a few in Bodie ( a ghost town in the Sierra's). I am still
waiting the results of that. Any clues on how long Fujii takes to get film
back to you? John Gettis
