You may get some vignetting or distortion using the iS-1/2 teleconverter
with focal lengths less than 135mm (for which it was designed to perform
optimally). Still, might be worth experimenting with. If the multi-element
close up diopter for the iS-1/2 is any indication, the teleconverter should
be an excellent performer.

It looks to me that the A-200 1.5x converter for the IS-1/2 is the only one
that is 49mm. Is this correct? If so, can you say "75mm/f1.4"? (or
75mm/f1.2
for you more fortunate types). How about "150mm/f2.8"??
