This is what is said in my OM-40 manual:

• The DX ISO auto-setting is not effective when the ISO speed window shows a
number "800" or larger.
First, set it at "640" or smaller then adjust for ISO auto setting."

The ISO range in the OM-40 is 25-3200, so why doesn't the DX coding work above
ISO 640?
