Thanks for the example, Gary. Even with the vignetting I can understand why
photojournalists would tolerate this kind of performance. Their photos are
often cropped mercilessly anyway. Oddly, I've seen worse vignetting *kept*
in some newspaper photos.

Regarding the 24mm f/2, here is what a C grade for "vignetting" looks
like in full frame:

This was an evenly lighted map. In my opinion, B is acceptable and D is
a clear throw-away.
