Excellent point. I was shooting next to a long-time ultra famous
motorsports photographer at Monterey Historics a little over a week back
and it appeared he opted to not use the technology available today at
all really. What I noticed that was interesting was he used new F5
bodies with old ED lenses (80-200/2.8 and 400/2.8 manual focus).
The only technology I really want to learn new techniques for will be
digital someday. For now I feel I have so much to learn in evolving what
I have already learned I really wouldn't want to start learning all over
again.
Great post Ken...thanks!
