Well, I'm not Joan Baez, but the post about being in a bar caught my ear. If
Joan met Bob Dylan in a bar again, what would they say to each other? would
you be there to record it with your OM gear?
I saw a young man trying to sing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" at the subway. I
don't know which was worse, his singing or his electric guitar work. But, I
wondered if he really knew what the song was about? So many people don't
know. It's like "Puff the Magic Dragon." Everybody sings along, but few
realize what they are singing about.
With all the work pressures, and bills, bills and more bills, I long for the
easy carefree days of my youth, tossing frisbees and hanging out. Now I wish
I had a camera back then to record it all. I'd have something to look at
rather than just memories.
