YOU'RE RIGHT! I knew there was something else- THE COFFEEMAKER!
Well, I do have firsthand experience with a military spec computer printer
the county got all us police dept's about 10 years ago. Yes, a computer
peripheral that's still working after TEN YEARS! The Air Force spec'd them
out. The thing is huge, heavy, (takes two men to carry it!) and LOUD. When it
prints, which is most of the time, believe me, you can't hear the person
you're talking to on the phone, which can't be a plus when you're answering
an emergency call.
I'm not kidding when I tell you the spec called for it to survive a certain
type of bomb hitting the (military) building. So, what you say is very true-
everyone's DEAD, but the thing will still print messages!
Regards,
George S.
