Well, I figured out what to do about them blarsted loose, plastic body
caps... replace 'em with Kalt metal caps. I bought 5 of them for $3
each after "winning" 1 at auction on eBay. I'm sure the supplier has
more if anybody is interested. It's nice to have a cap that fits as
snugly as the lens and will also stay that way.
Which brings me to the rear lens cap question. I doubt that there is a
truly snug fitting rear lens cap in my entire collection of caps. Does
anybody know how to tighten these up? I thought maybe a hot blade
pushed up against the plastic ears might do the trick. Anybody got a
better solution? Otherwise, anybody know where I can get a dozen tight
fitting caps for $1-2 each?
