Well, if anyone is interested in the results of the 200 f/5 with a 2X-A, see

for a comparison of f/5 (effectively f/10) and f/11 (f/22).
The results are pretty grim wide open. Shots are full frame PictureCD scans
from Fuji 400 negatives with only Photoshop autobalance and 1500nsharp
mask applied. OM-4T on self-timer and on a tripod, of course.
Unfortuneately, Gary Reese has not repeated his tests of this combination
with an aperture-prefiring body. But this quick and dirty comparison is not
promising.
