Hello All, I'm pretty new to the list, so forgive me if this has already
been covered, but I could find it nowhere in archives.
I'm shooting a pair of nice & minty OM-1's, One is a vintage OM-1 non-MD
chrome, and the other is a nice rebuilt OM-1 MD black. As far as I know,
however, they only accept accessory shoe 1, and the FP/X connector next to
the lense mount.
My Question is, since the OM-1 does have TTL metering, but not TTL/OTF Flash
Metering (like the OM2S program, OM3Ti, & OM4Ti), what (if any) flash setup
would be good for 1:1 or greater (macro) shooting with a)stacked lenses,
b)bellows, c)auto-extension tubes.
I know good results are being obtained with newer OM's using T-8's, T-10's,
and twin T flash mounts, but these are all TTL/OTF controlled flashes,
right? If so, can I still use them? How? And with what controller on shoe 1?
Also, I don't feel limited to Oly flashes, if there's another setup I could
manufacture/buy... feel free to let me know.
Thanks all,
-Mike
