Our family doctor, also a pilot, had a different philosophy. On his office
wall was a photograph of a light plane smashed into a tree, with a caption
reading: "There is nothing inherently dangerous about flying; but it is
dreadfully unforgiving of error."
Or, put another way, it ain't the fall that gets ya. It's the sudden stop.

Lex while this may appear to be the case at first glance, most of my
Pilot friends assure me there is no such thing as a "perfectly" good
airplane. It is one of the reasons it is a little harder to get a
pilots license than a drivers license.
