On a 6 month trip to Nepal 20 years ago I took an OM-1, a Vivitar
28/2.8, a Vivtar 70-150, a 2XTC, and a Zuiko 50/1.4, an XA, and a pair
of Leitz 8x20 binoculars. The XA ended up loaned to a friend who had
his Canon stolen. I shot only Kodachrome 64, and the slides are still
wonderful. I have quite a few Cibachromes from these, mostly of
people taken with the Vivitar 70-150.
I don't know how this Vivitar ranks, most are junk, but it was good to
me. So was the 50/1.4.
If I went on a similar trip today, I'd take my Zuiko 24/2.8,
and probably buy a Zuiko 70-150, and I'd take my 50/1.4 over my
50/1.8. The 2XTC is small and very light and good with the 70-150.
Basically I agree with Dylan.
