A sheet of gel polarizer filter could be used, tho' the one I have is
intended for use on lights, not lenses, and I don't know how much optical
quality would be sacrificed. But with a tripod-mounted camera such filters
could be held in front of the lens. Flare might be worse, tho'.

The Zuiko 16mm fisheye has no filter threads to speak of, so no way to
mount anything. Also, the 180 degree field of view makes any sort of
front-mounted filter almost impossible. hence the need for internal
filters.
