This is cool. The future appears to headed towards "digital watermarks",
though. Even for the little guy. One of the dot com's trying to be the
leader in this field is http://www.digimarc.com (look under "Secure
Documents" tab). There are others doing the same thing (Exact same
technology - comes from the US military). CYA

Subject: [OM] protecting images from theft
Anyone who has quality graphics on their site might like to know of a
simple
piece of Javascript which prevents those with Internet Explorer from using
the right click and "Save Picture as" option to pinch your images (it
prevents the right click function):

I use Paint Shop Pro to put a copyright note in the corner of my images.
Neither is foolproof, but this is adequate for my purposes.
