Recently in this group there was some discussion regarding hand straps versus
camera straps. Tamrac produces a number of straps, with quick releases, that
are interchangeable (camera & hand straps). I'm interested in purchasing
both styles. My problem is that I can't find a retailer who carries both
products, specifically the N15 (hand strap) and the N17 (camera strap); most
of the Tamrac retailers I've contacted stock the N17, if at all. The
insignificant retail sale that would be involved makes a "special order"
understandably unappealing to store owners.
I've been to Tamrac's site, looked up retailers and called a great many of
them. Tamrac hasn't responded to my query; their site does indicate that
they can't respond to everyone due to email volume.
Has anyone seen the N15 hand strap (with quick release) in their local photo
shop? If so, please let me know. I'm interested in purchased two N15s and a
single N17. I have a business trip at the end of this month and wish to
restrap my OMs beforehand.
