Tom S, Lex, Olafo, Gary, Tom T, everyone who took the
trouble to look at the pictures, thanks for all the
comments. I learn a lot from all the list-members'
galleries. I'll try to send in more pictures for the
gallery soon.
Olafo, you were most perceptive re: the use of the
135 f/2.8 for the bird pics. This is probably my
favorite lens. Lovely bokeh, sharp, contrasty and light-
small enough to carry in a coat pocket. Wish it had a
close-focus feature for macro shots. I will give the Oly
macro attachment a try and see if it helps any.
Pics were scanned in to CD-ROM by the local photo
store; fair amount of specks and lines across some scans,
as some of you noted. Justification to buy myself a
scanner......
