Mike, I tend to agree with most of what you're saying, altho' I guess I
found Olympus's marketing "strategy" more amusing than you did. Of course,
I didn't get saddled with an OM-2000 either. ;>
It is odd, tho', that the more affordable midrange Olympus film camera is
the iS-3. Not a bad deal considering all that camera has to offer.
