Interesting looking device - shame about the price. I can see that being
mounted on three large rubber pods would be good for the car roof but they
sound a bit wobbly for a camera support. I once bought a small Slik tripod
with rubber feet, without which it was wobbly enough already, so I took them
off and whittled three new wooden ones out of dowelling and it seemed quite
a bit sturdier.
On the same page as the Groofwin is the Kinesis Safari Sack, a version of
which, and very relevant to Lex's recent post about unwanted pillows, is
offered full of buckwheat husks! I still sleep on my buckwheat pillow -
after eighteen months or so it doesn't crunch as much as it used to, unless
my hearing's not as good.
