My Manual for Zuiko Interchangeable Lens Group is marked IEMZLG 0578 30MT.
The only zoom listed is the 70-150/4. Primes listed are: 8/2.8 and 16/3.5
fisheyes; 18/3.5; 21/3.5; 24/2; 24/2.8; 28/2; 28/3.5; 35/2; 35/2.8; 35/2.8
shift; 55/1.2; 50/1.4; 50/1.8; 50/3.5 macro; 85/2; 100/2.8; 135/2.8;
135/3.5; 200/4; 200/5; 300/4.5; 400/6.3; 600/6.5; 1000/11. Also, macro
lenses: 20/3.5; 38/3.5; 80/4.
My OM-1 Instructions booklet is marked IEOM1 - 0978 - 20MS. Its list of
lens adds the: 35-70/3.6 zoom; 180/2.8.
So, does 0578 and 0978 indicate a date code and two lenses were added to the
line toward the end of 1978? Or is this not a date code at all?

Thomas Tamura said "a copy of the OM System Lens Handbook. .....Does
anyone know if there is more than one version of this book" "250mm F/2 and
possibly the 350mm F/2.8"
I don't know if this is the same thing? I have a copy, A5 size, "OM System
Manual for Interchangeable Lenses Group" 74pages long but no mention of
250mm or 350mm lenses. It is coded on the back IEMZLG 0277 20MT, could
indicate feb 1977 printing? Shows 8mm - 1000mm lenses. Back page has
compatability information on 12 focusing screens, 1-1 to 1-13. Makes
reference to OM-1 and OM-2.
An earlier version, also 74pages, coded IEMZLG 0173 10MD, Jan 1973
printing? Differs mainly in not having focusing screen information; and
inside cover picture of the Olympus line up is different. Makes reference
to OM-1 only.
Both only mention the 75-150mm f4 zoom. I presume that as OM system
developed, updates occurred
