Well, it's that time of the millenium again, when I get my act together (not to
mention the 1.5 working days of free time) to cobble together, clean up, and
upload the latest batch of submissions to the Unofficial Olympus Web Photo
Gallery. I'm beginning to think it's time Oly USA or Oly Global coughed up a
free OM-4Ti for my efforts.
Okay, mebbe just a 250/2.0. I'm not greedy. ;-)
We have ten new submitters and two returning submitters in this release, dated
(appropriately enough) June 2000. In total, we now have 92 contributors to the
Gallery. Many of the new submitters sent in examples of Oly's digital
line-up's prowess at imaging.
New Submitters:
===============
Leonard Auslender, West Hollywood, California, USA
Leonard sends in a single image of a jacaranda in bloom.
Jerry Clark, Newburgh, New York, USA
Again a single image, this time of a sunrise over the Atlantic.
Jeff Cullman (from somewhere on Planet Earth)
What can you do with an Olympus Camedia C-2000? Quite a lot, apparently. A
variety of tasty images.
Ranjan Ghosal, Evansville, Indiana, USA
A themed set of submissions -- every photo was taken during a visit to Anna
Maria Island in Florida.
Tomas Handfield, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Images from the West Coast of Canada. Makes you wanna go hiking.
Tatu Laitinen, Hyvinkaa, Finland
Images from southern Finland's brief summer.
Donna Miraglia, Southampton, New York, USA
A designer by vocation, Donna's submitted some strongly graphic
representations of everyday plants and objects.
Chip Stratton, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
Chip sends images from a day walking around Tulsa's downtown.
Harvey Williams (from somewhere on Planet Earth)
A single image from the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Ross Wilsie, Fincastle, Virginia, USA
More digital Olympus stuff. A nice variety of images, showing off the range
of what a consumer-grade Olympus digital camera can really do.
Returning Submitters:
=====================
Barry Hinderks
Flowers, planes, birds and people. Aren't those the four food groups? ;-)
Angelo Claudio Molinari
Bicycles would be the theme of this submission set.
That's about it, folks. Again, thanks to all the contributors. Next release
should be sometime in August, God, the submitters and my schedule willing.
Uh, that's August 2000, by the way. Just thought I'd clear that up. 8^>
