You also need to:
1. Select an aperture which provides good results
2. Use a shutter speed capable of stopping any subject movement
3. Focus critically, with due respect to the necessary depth of field
4. Use a film capable of resolving the detail the lens produces
5. Print/project the image with optics of high quality
