Hi Andy,
Sad to say, many 70's electronics prefer 1.35 or 1.4 volt mercury
batteries, like Accutron watches, Gossen exposure meters, and the OM-
1. Juice them up with alkalines, and they don't work right. The 675
zinc-air batteries, while smaller, give a close approximation of the
voltage without poisoning the environment.
