In a lens OM-lens-brochure (from 1978, again) I found the tip:
"Zuiko lenses are designed to be used with one Filter.
Using two or more Filters may cause vignetting."
My Obervation:
Oly-filters are very slim. So I used the only one I have with the widest lens I
have, the 2.8/24.
I never noticed any vignetting using the shade. Now I use the filter withe the
2.0/40 lens,
Because with another filter I can`t turn the aperture-ring :-(.
Now I noticed slight vignetting with the thicker Hama-filter on the 2.8/24 when
using the
lens shade. No problem because the vignetting is fully covered by the slide
frame, but
showes how precise the shades are designed.
