I'm impressed that the A-series holder works with a 24mm. I presume
that a 21mm would be out of the question?
I just put an A-system on the 21/3.5 and could not see any vignetting
but I haven't shot any film with that combo.
I've also heard it said the the Cokin ND-grads have a
noticable colour cast, which would be true for the "P" system as well.
Seems to depend on the vintage/batch -- one I have is fairly neutral,
the other is kind of a grey/green. The results were tolerable but not
great so I upgraded.
While I normally don't care for Tiffen filters, they do make the best
ND-grad on the market. It is a true neutral grey and it's the only
one made of glass. The Cokin, Lee, and (over-priced) Singh-Ray are
just soft plastic and will scratch faster than you can blink. The
catch is Cokin is the only company offering an A-series ND-grad.
