[OM] NT - Vivitar extender for OM

A question from digest land: My Vivitar extender worked fine with the OM10, but 
blocks the mirror path with both OM1MD and OM2n. (I tried for an answer in the 
archives, but maybe asked the wrong question.) Is this normal... is it a male 
thing about the size of mirror?
