Regarding "compatible" ink carts, I'm letting my $275 service experience with
my laser printer be my guide: problem wasn't in the printer, it was in the
refilled toner cart. Slap an OEM toner cart in and the damn thing worked
perfectly. Blew away my confidence in the service idiots, it did. It also
taught me that saving 25 0sn't always a savings...
Fortunately, Costco [Price-Costco, a warehouse club, sells things for cheap in
MASS quantity, for you who aren't familiar with them] sells ink carts that fit
in our printers. I suppose once they're discontinued from there, it will be
time to upgrade the printers.
