I'll second that. Got one in my pocket right now. It really is small and light
enough to keep with you at all times, and it's a 35mm rather than an APS. The
spot meter is a very useful function in a P&S. There is no exposure control,
however. Some have complained about intermittent AF failures, but the only
"failure" I've had is when I failed to use the AF lock on off-center subjects.
