Well Gary, here are a couple more data points for you in this
important quest for knowledge of yours! I have two silver-nose
lenses. I knew my recently acquired 55/1.2 had slotted screws,
since I just got done putting it back together after cleaning
all the sand out of the focusing mechanism. It is SN 109921.
Then I looked at my 35/2.8. Nope, Philips screws, but wait a
minute! It is SN 109919! This of course begs the question,
which must be at least as important as Gary's: does anyone have
any Zuikos with matched serial nos?
