Well, my local computer store had a couple interesting lens in their
consignment case. So I bought them. One is a like new 300/4.5, with the
tripod collar, in the original box in the original hard case (the case and
box are like new too, in fact, I am not sure the case has been used. It
included a 72mm Hoya skylight. I think I got it for a fair price, but not a
steal. Not even sure why I bought it, since I own one, so if any one wants
one, write me off list and I'll sell it to you for what I paid for it.
The other was a particularly unique find. A Zuiko 500/8 mirror in the
original soft case. This is an odd, cool lens. I thought I'd set it on the
tripod at the next full moon and see what happens.
I also got my Olympus M case in from Patrick in Paris. He's a nice seller
and included a little present. A nice OM-10. I've bought from him before,
so I guess he was just nice. He's selling the last of his OM equipment, so
I may pick up the pieces. Nothing too interesting except......a 350/2.8.
Haven't heard back from him what he wants for that one. Probably more than
I can pay, so if any one is interested in that, let me know and maybe I can
arrange it for you.
Off to play!
Tom
