$825 for the 35-80/2.8 is a fair price. You won't regret having the lens.
The $825 on an 8/2.8 Fisheye is a steal! Either something is wrong with
it, the seller needs money, or he doesn't know what it's worth on today's
market, i.e., $1,100-1,500.

Subject: [OM] Zuiko 35-80mm F2.8 2nd hand
Date: Sat, 20 May 2000 20:09:25 +0900 (JST)
Hello all,
Nope I'm not selling one but I did see one available in a shop in Tokyo. I
am *VERY* keen on it but it's going for Yen 90,000 (US$825). It's in mint
condition...
1) How good is the Zuiko 35-80mm F2.8?? I've got a Zuik 28mm F2.8, 50mm
F1.4 and 55mm F1.2 (with fungus).
2) Is US$825 worth it??
The Zuiko 35-80/2.8 is 'only' the best zoom Olympus ever produced, with
one ED element and five high refractive index pieces.
