Hi,
I know that this sounds like heresy, but am considering
buying the cheap non Zuiko zoom alternatives since I do
not own any zooms. Which brands should I avoid? I do not
own a macro and do not know much about it. What should I
look for when buying a macro zoom?
Considering getting from the OLY guy one of the brand new
Vivitar 28-200. Anyone knows anything about this lens? I
own a Vivitar 28/2.8 and like the multicoating a lot.
There is a store here in town where I saw a Hanimex 28-80
3.5-4.5(something like that..)with a 1.4 and 1.5 macro.
Asking price is $60. Seems a little expensive. Condition is
like new, but without box and papers.
The othere question is for those members who do not have
darkrooms. Where do you develop your prints( I stopped
shooting slides)? Does anyone know anything about
OFOTO?
I think that the place in town where I develop mine bought
cheap printers and suddenly my pictures started to be very
grainy and lost sharpness especially on the underexposed
parts. So I have to go somewhere else. Heard that Kinko's
have film scanners and printers, but nothing about the
quality. Anyway, open to all suggestions and advice.
Thanks in adance. Glad to "talk" to you again(I guess ask is
more appropriate).
Boris
P.S. Garry, thanks for the warm welcome back
