13x44"?? I don't think so. 16x20" or A3+ maybe. Even on a roll I don't

it's 13" wide is it??
Anyway, I'm diverting from the topic. I've got the SS4000 and the
Japanese
equivalent of Epson 1270. Results are stunning but it sure takes quite a
bit of time and resources to scan/Photoshop 1 photo. I'm still a novice
at
it will seriously start to consider a dedicated Mac G4's to do the job
as
PC's are simply not cut for this sort of work. FYI, a single 12 bit 4000
dpi
scan can be as big as 120-140MB. To process that in Photoshop, you'd
need
at least 512MB RAM for a file that size.
Then there's colour management issues too.
