Now something is very wrong there! It should be at 1/60th or less.
Perhaps your camera is out of wack.
Try some manual exposures rather than TTL. Shoe mounted or Bounce Grip
mounted, the following would lead to a perfect manual exposures of a 18%
reflectance subject with the T-32:
1:2 mag, low power, f/16, ISO 50 film, 2X N.D. filter on flash head.
At 1:2.5 f/20
1:3 f/18
1:4 f/20
1:5 f/16
1:7 f/14.5
1:8 f/12.5
1:10 High power at midway between f/16 and f/22
Those settings are based on a lifetime of flower photography. I know,
there aren't many ISO 50 films anymore and you don't have N.D. filters .
. . Oh, well.
