Well, I don't know if they are as highly 'respected', but I have two
Tamracs, a 614 and 608. I use the 608 daily as my main bag. It's not the
right form factor for hiking though. I have a Lowepro Minitrekker backpack
(I think that's the name) that I like OK. Well padded, almost too padded,
as it doesn't hold as much as I like.
Overall, both good brands.
