Jim, I wondered that myself as I started using my OM-1 MD again for the first
time in quite a long time. It is simple to use and just feels right. I guess
what I especially like as I get older is the ability to adjust the diopter
setting on my OM-4T. I can change depending on the type of shooting I am
doing... macro or landscape. I also notice that I need to change on days my
alergies kick up outside. You have a few years to go before this becomes
important to you :-)
I suppose what I would do is have the OM-1 for a backup and for shooting print
film in normal light, and the 4T for difficult light settings, flash TTL, times
when auto is required or I don't want to think, and night work.
