Frank, I have the same problem. My winder 2 won't screw on tightly
to the small quick-release plate on my Bogen head. I think that the
socket in the Winder is more shallow than on other equipment. I just
threw a washer in-between and that seems to be working fine for me.
I think that I'll put some stick-on felt or something to keep it from
scratching though.
