Got the results back from using the 200/4 and 300/4.5 at close range. The
tulips finally came up and thought I ought to please the other half with
some shots of them. Bokeh wasn't too bad with either of them and thought I
should share that aspect of them:
Using the 200mm f/4 on the red ones in the front yard:

The 300mm seems slightly smoother, but then the scene behind the 200mm was
a tougher test with the very tiny and closely spaced lavender blossoms.
Oh yes, she was pleased with them!
