Thinks for the explanation. Honestly, I was never conscious of any
difference in shutter speed rings. I have three OM-2S's (blush) and they
are smooth enough not to call attention to themselves. Sounds like you
might want to go ahead with a little service, especially as you've found a
good and economical technician!
