[OM] Thanks for Phoenix recommendations

Thanks to all for ideas - a weekend in the Grand Canyon is booked!  And 
some great ideas for a less-than-direct but more-interesting-than-highway 
drive from Phoenix.   
And Gary's absolutely right - I should shoot not shop.  (I'm afraid I was 
just locked into the "visiting USA, must shop" mindset that a lot of us who 
live in rip-off Britain/Europe have)
