The -2s has spot metering and is more like a OM-4. the OM-2 has center
weighted averaging metering. The -2s is more expensive to repair and
eats batteries more than the OM-2. The both have TTL-OTF ambient and
flash auto exposure. The -2s is rarer than the -2. I would prefer the
OM-2, but it is a personal decision. If you want spot metering, and
many do, then get the -2s. Just make sure it's working perfectly first.
