John Hermanson usually recommends plio bond I think. One generic term for
this kind of glue is contact cement. I have also seen it called impact
cement.
You lightly coat both surfaces with glue, wait until they are both barely
tacky and then position the piece and press it on. I would start at one
edge and sort of roll it on to lessen the chance of trapped air bubbles.
