Well, I'm disappointed with my results, for several reasons
- Everything is very overexposed. I suspect that the material I'm using in
front of the flash units isn't opaque enough (as I'm getting shadows), but
the OM-4T should have shut the flashes down fast enough to get a good
exposure. Any suggestions?
- The is a distinct magenta cast to everything. The girls pink shirts are
now purple and the gray background is greenish. Oddly, when I switched to
the
light gray background and blue shirts, the problem disappeared.
- The negatives are a mess. I'm going to have a little talk with the people
that did it. I paid quite a bit extra to get 'quality' and I didn't. My
favorite shot has a large thumbprint on the negative (no, not mine)
I'm going to try a couple of things:
1) Get a thicker material to go in front of the flash units
2) Switch to an OM-4 (I'll try my other 4T when it comes back from a CLA
with John)
3) Switch films (Royal Gold 100 is next, since I have some).
I still think I'm on the right track, but have a ways to go.
Here's a a link to the reasonably decent, but not great ones:
