I've been having some of my OM cameras doing the same thing. Long
exposures when the lens is set wide open. "Normal" exposures stopped down
to any aperture below wide-open. It's happened on several bodies and
several lenses.
My latest thought is that the batteries are going. So I bought new
ones. Haven't put them in yet though.
Any thoughts from the group?

I noticed a problem with my OM-4t the other night. I was trying to do a
long night exposure with the 300/4.5 lens stopped down to f/22. When
stopped down to f/4, I would get 1 second exposures. Stopping down
further, f/11 - f/22, the camera responded quickly. No long exposure.
could this be a problem with the camera or with the lens. Anybody
experience this problem?
thanks
