There's not much point having the exposure if no-one knows who took the
photograph. There will be no single answer to this, but as far as I'm
concerned I put enough effort into my photography that I would wish to
retain copyright and be credited for my work, wherever it appeared. I made
it, it's my work, and I'm keeping it. If they don't like it, they don't get
it. Why should I work to give them free advertising? Their attitude just
makes the life of photographers trying to earn a living that bit harder.
But by all means disagree :-)
