Well -- a typical monitor resolution is 72dpi (or 72 lines per inch) of course the quality of the tube (those using lcd ignore this) has a big impact on the accuracy of the individual dots -- but let us assume you get 72 quality dots per inch -- which is only about 29lpm which is not a very good lens.
