Clyde,
I shot three (3) rolls on a cold afternoon/evening at Joshua Tree using
a ?2s and only made through half a roll the next day using a Duracell
lithium. I *did not* remove the batteries from the camera over night.
Temps were in the high 20's F and the camera was brought up to a decent
temperature before a tried using it. My only other battery was another
lithium. It made it through about 3 more rolls. I have learned my lesson
and only use 357s now or my OM-1.

Subject: [OM] Lithium batteries
This is what the FAQ says:
Also, a lithium cell the size of two SR44's will *not* work
properly in those cameras that take SR44's. It will power the
camera OK for a while, but its voltage will quickly drop below the
minimum necessary for proper operation.
My question is: how long is a "while?" Using OM4t's, can I get 4 OK weeks of
daily shooting? 2 weeks? 2 days? I'm interested in the cold weather
performance of lithium versus silver or alkaline.
