I used to do this for people at Olympus. Draw your grid lines on a piece of
paper, 1:1 to how you want them on the screen. Carefully tape screen dull
side up, over drawing. CAREFULLY place a small ruller over the screen,
lined up with your first line (which you can see on the drawing underneath.
Lightly drag the tip of a new single edge razor blade across the screen .
Repeat for other 3 lines. Sounds scary but it works, though you may have
to practice or ruin a screen or two until you feel comfortable with it.
