In anticipation of the forthcoming "night photography" TOPE event, a
desire to experiment more with flash and because I've recently acquired
a Pentax 6x7, I've been considering getting myself a better instrument
than the leningrad 8, which I bought when I got a Lubitel about a decade
ago.
After a bit of hunting around for prices & specs, ISTM that the best
option would be a Gossen Sixtomat flash, which can be had for around
UKP150 new. It works down to EV-2.5, will work out mixed lighting and
display contrast range on a bargraph thing. It's also about the most I'd
want to spend atm.
Any constructive comments or recommendations of alternatives before I
decide?
