There is another reason to use FP shutters: To be able to look through the
lens! I think Olympus made the IS series to be a complete SLR without the
possibility (and for 950f all photographers that's good enough) to change
lenses. They could have done a better job however on the coverage through
the finder. I believe it is now 850f actual frame while the 1-digit OM's
have 98%(claimed to be the same as covered by slide frames)
